Increasingly difficult small-scale WWII-eastern front-themed Panzer Missions

Panzer Missions is a turn based strategy game set on the eastern front during the Second World War. From Joni Nuutinen: by a wargamer for the wargamers since 2011You are in command of a squadron of German WWII units - tanks, infantry and artillery units - and the object of the game is to finish harder and harder missions as quickly as possible. In later campaigns both you and Red Army will get better units, Germans going from Panzer IVs to Tigers, and Russians getting T-34s. The scenario includes fuel transportation to armored units and ammo delivery to artillery with trucks. Map scale is fairly small so each mission does not take too long.FEATURES: + Quick-to-play missions, which evolve from easy to hard as your career progresses. First assignments take just a handful of turns/minutes to finish.+ Simple resource management and logistics with supply depots: Transport ammo to artillery and fuel to SS, motorized, and tank units to keep the spearhead of your attack going.+ Long-lasting: Thanks to in-built variation and the games smart AI technology, each game provides a unique war gaming experience.+ Competitive: Measure your skills against others fighting for the Hall of Fame top spots.+ Good AI: Instead of just attacking on direct line towards the target, the AI opponent balances between strategic goals and smaller tasks like encircling nearby units.+ Settings: Various options are available to alter the look of the gaming experience: Change difficulty level, hexagon size, Animation speed, choose icon set for units (NATO or REAL) and cities (Round, Shield, Square, block of houses), decide what is drawn on the map, and much more.In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support to an attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain local superiority. Secondly, it is rarely a good idea to use brute force when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off its supply lines instead.Privacy Policy (full text on website and app menu).Conflict-Series by Joni Nuutinen has offered highly rated Android-only strategy board games since 2011, and even the first scenarios are still actively updated. The campaigns are based on the time-tested gaming mechanics TBS (turn-based strategy) enthusiasts are familiar with from both the classic PC war games and legendary tabletop board games. I want to thank the fans for all the well thought-out suggestions over the years which have allowed these campaigns to improve at a much higher rate than what any solo indie developer could dream of. If you have advice on how to improve this board game series please use email, this way we can have a constructive back and forth chat without the limits of the stores comment system. In addition, because I have huge number of projects on multiple stores, it’s just not sensible to spend handful of hours each day going through hundreds of pages spread all over the Internet to see if there is a question somewhere -- just send me an email and I will get back to you. Thanks for understanding!+ Assigning replacements (+1 HP) to a unit is a bit easier (3 adjacent enemy hexagons allowed, but the severity of enemy-blocks-replacements depends on the Difficulty Level+ HOF relocated to web (see dev-log for details)+ Setting: HOF: Send scores to online database (ON/OFF switch)+ Setting: Turn major developer alerts ON/OFF+ AI: Improvements in front line coherence

The conflict series is the best for those who like war games after the Avalon Hill style. Extremely replayable! Thank you!!

I was rather disappointed with this game but probably my expectations were too high.

I love everything nuutinen (sp?) does. try barborossa or tgis one first

Joni's games are outstanding little masterpieces of concept and execution. If one looks past the simplistic design and somewhat archaic controls (which are still intuitive), a deep and engrossing strategical experience lies in wait.

Joni has really improved the AI on this game, making it really challenging as you progress. My only complaint is that when my units get encircled, they're encircled. On the Soviet side, if you encircle their cities or units, it may take up to 10 turns before the AI shows it

I find Joni's games very addictive and exciting. They will make a 4 hour flight seem like 30 minutes. This is different than the other campaigns. Each individual mission is short so I find myself being able to put this away easier. It is good for some quick fun.

I admire what the game is trying to achieve, but some things are not consistent. A Waffen SS unit of full strength (7) and supported by two full strength regular infantry, getting repelled by a single unsupported infantry....or you take a defensive stance with many units in a support of each other and STILL losing an expected encounter by lesser units. Why doesn't an encircled unit start to suffer after it's encircled? Many turns later is weakens - what changed from the past update?

Ohh the ADDED multipliers change so often on this. In one game every unit had 2 flamethrowers, no MP extra for AFV any more. Must be the whole Russian army in this sector !! One game took 700 turns as two big counter attacks with at least double my force. Too frustrating and no real understanding is developed per units, for example a infantry unit with FT at full capacity knocked back by a 3 ( depleted) Russian inf unit then the next turn this same German unit knocks back a full Russian tank unit. Go figure

Though small in scale the increasingly harder missions make this game very addictive. All these games are great but this is the best.

The conflict-series games are the best turn based wargames I've found for android. This game includes supply trucks for fuel and ammo, weather, and ranged artillery. Its is a nonhistoric "campaign game" where battles become progressively harder. I gave it four stars because there is no "campaign game" feel. How well you do in a battle is not reflected in the next battle, there is nothing linking the battles; and also because air power is omitted. A fun game.
